LocalintheKnow intends to grow with the communities that it serves. As a business we have a vision to index every organization and provide a comprehensive guide to your community. It will take years to complete.

 

To let you know where your community stands, we have four levels of completion identified on the home page of each member of the community publishing network. Alpha , Beta, Live, and Flagship. 

 

LocalintheKnow.com ( Alpha )  

 

Alpha on your community’s home page stands for our entry level information service product where the editors of LocalintheKnow are beginning to develop a comprehensive listing of every organization in your community. 

 

Short version is this community is in launch mode.

 

Please check back frequently as we activate more of the community information features that will provide you with an edited and comprehensive listing of all your community’s attractions, events and businesses.

 

During Alpha Stage, your business will be upgraded in listings with pictures in your category at no charge until the site is upgraded into Beta Status, where the advertising and marketing programs are available at reasonable cost.

 

We designate Alpha Status when we are simply starting to develop a presence and are providing a minimum number of listings and community web applications. In Alpha we are offering Movie listings if available, with current trailer links and movie times playing in your community. During the Alpha stage, we will activate a list of the accommodations and restaurants offered in your community.

 

We want to apologize in advance that some links may not work and more importantly some of the businesses profiles may not be in your immediately community as we develop relationships and contact local businesses. This is a great opportunity to get your business in on the ground floor at no or little cost and enjoy an enhanced visibility on the web.

 

LocalintheKnow ( Beta )

 

The Beta designation on your community site stands for our developer's version of a community directory that is under active assembly, correction, and enhancement in terms of traffic development and features what we offer for local businesses and social organizations.

 

Here's what being designated Beta means to you as a user.

 

If you are a business or social community organization user you may not find he directory complete yet, nor find your business listing properly completed. If your organization does not have a listing in the directory, click on the email link here for sales@localintheknow.com and your full contact data will be added. If you are a non profit or government agency, or tourist attraction in the community, you will be upgraded from Courtesy Listing to a Basic Display listing with logo and write up to better explain these organizations to visitors.

 

If you are a site user looking for information on a Beta Status site, we upgrade to Beta when we feel the site is more than 50% of the way complete, and that time and effort is going to improve the performance of the site and your satisfaction with it as an information search user.

 

In Beta mode, every time you come back you should expect to find more material being added and the content constantly being refreshed as we attempt to make it more complete.

 

At the Beta stage, you will find all the categories generating lists that are under editing and assembly to be complete within their category. During Beta we are selling listings at introductory base rates and working with the search engines to make sure that a steady, growing and sustained amount of traffic is using the site.  Also in the Beta stage, most businesses and information being provided will be specific to that community location.

 

At the Beta status, we at LocalintheKnow are starting to be proud of the growth that your community is achieving.

 

Beta is good to go for LocalintheKnow.com  and this designation means that we are getting ready to upgrade your community to Live status, when the site is judged to be more than 75% complete.
